Some Clarifications About Who Might Die

Hey All,
The last few days have been a little crazy for Heroes Spoilers. Most have centered around a possible "main" character death that has caused a stir among many of you. Part of the problem is that we have gotten small snippets from various sources that hint at a potential death but stop short of confirming who. Plus, there seem to be some errors in some of the information.

I have received several emails from many of you asking what is going on or trying to explain your point of view. So I thought I should post a little clarification for those of you that are trying to figure it all out and hopefully it does not confuse you even more. I know this is long, but I hope it helps.

I will start by stating some facts and then provide you with my thoughts.
1) Kring and other members of the show and media confirm that a "main" character or "someone we have gotten to know pretty well" will not make it to the end of the season. Now some of the confusion began with these statements as fans forget that Episode 3x13 Duality (War) is NOT the end of the season but Volume 3.

Of course some of the more recent posts have confirmed someone will not make to the end of the Volume.

2) More craziness began when leaked Promo pics revealed MAJOR Spoilers and a scene with Sylar above a blonde and bloody Hero and puring what seems like lighter fluid. The caption on the image says the person is "Ali Larter" but if you look a little more closely you will see that it indeed looks exactly like Elle who is played by Kristen Bell NOT Larter.

Most of you feel that this female blonde (Elle) is dead and it damn sure looks like it with Sylar ready to cremate the body, but this image does NOT confirm this character is dead just that it seems like they are dead. Plus, these images were NOT released by NBC, so they are not official. For all we know the scene does not even make the episode or could be changed.

For those of you that are still convinced it is Larter, click the image to the left which details how and why it looks like Elle. If you look at the clothes worn by Elle in some other promotional pictures you will see that she is wearing the same clothes. Here is a nice screencap pointing this out.

3) EW (Ausiello) and E!Online (Kristin) Posts - More confusion was caused as fans read and we posted reports from these sources. First, Kristin posted that a when this character that dies it "puts an end to a new love story as we know it." At some point she also mentioned that this character is blonde. Sooo with the spoiler image above we posted that it seems like Kristen is confirming that Elle will die after all.
With in hours, Kristin posted a clarification saying that she was NOT talking about Elle. So basically leaving us with possibly Daphne or Tracy!? Kristin did say it is not who she expected and then Ausillo today confirmed that he is "not happy" about who dies.

So if both are unhappy and surprised well it could be a hint at either Tracy or Daphne as both media members like both actresses very much.So WTF is going to happen!? Well either no one knows WTF is going to happen or the various sources are just misinformed.

Basically if ALL the sources of information are correct it seems like Tracy will be the one that dies or perhaps Daphne or Elle dies or are setup to look like they will die and actually live or come back to life.
